HERE IS HOW YOU CAN HELP! Ammon must collect 1000 verifiable signatures before March 11th to run as an independent candidate for governor. YOU CAN HELP BY FOLLOWING THESE FOUR SIMPLE STEPS.
As you may know, in order for me to be on the ballot in the November General election as an Independent candidate for Governor, Idaho law requires that I collect and submit at least 1,000 signatures from currently registered voters in the state, by Friday, March 11th.
This is no small task, but I believe we can easily meet (and even exceed) this requirement by working together as a team.
The Secretary of State provides an official form for use in the collection of registered voter signatures. Please follow these simple steps below.
STEP
Using whatever printer you have available, print as many copies of the form as you feel you will need. Each form can contain up to 10 signatures.
The official instructions for this form can also be viewed here.
STEP
In the Signers Statement section (highlighted in GREEN here), be sure to have each person...
At this point, it's important to not touch the Certification section (or lower) on the form, highlighted in RED and YELLOW in the nearby image.
ATTENTION - Signatures must be grouped by county. If you wish to collect signatures from people in multiple counties, use a separate form for each county. Do not mix them on the same form.
STEP
When you are finished collecting signatures, you must have each form notarized. Every county clerk office has a Notary Public, and most local banks and shipping services (UPS Store, etc) also offer notary services to their customers or the public. If you need help locating a Notary Public, you can also try the resources below...
Before you complete the Certification section in front of the Notary Public, they will need to verify who you are using your Drivers License, or other photo-identification, so be sure to have one with you.
STEP
Please ensure your notarized forms are mailed to us (at the address below) no later than Friday, March, 4th.
